**PREMIUM** 2-Day Intro to Long Range Course – October 9th-10th, 2020

Dates: Friday, October 9th – Saturday, October 10th, 2020

Location: North Springs Shooting Range – Price, Utah.  Map

Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate

PREMIUM FEATURES: This course is a premium version of our popular intro to long range class which limits the class size to just 12 students allowing for more one-on-one instruction.

This course introduces students to the mindset, skillset, and equipment necessary to achieve precision and accuracy at long range. Students will become proficient at using a ballistics app to generate a shooting solution for any combination of rifle, ammo, and environmental condition.  Most importantly, students will master the fundamentals of marksmanship and their ability to maximize the capability of any rifle system.  Students are expected to arrive with their rifle, optics, ammo, and equipment set up according to the prerequisites listed below. If you do so we guarantee each student will be able to effectively engage 12 – 24″ targets out to 1000 yards without assistance.  Typically, 75% or more of our students will successfully complete the 1000 yard Milk Jug Challenge in less than 10 shots.  Failure to heed the recommendations below will likely prevent you from enjoying these achievements and keep you from getting the most out of this course.  If time allows, students will have the option to attend some additional instruction on positional shooting and/or attempt shooting out to 1200 yards, 1500 yards, and even 1 mile after class on Saturday evening.

Student Feedback:

“I took this class because my husband was taking the class.  Now I’m excited and interested to do more, I’m hooked!   – Connie, Saratoga Springs UT 2020
“I’ve always wanted to do the MJC but was hesitant of my abilities.  This class walks you step by step building you skill set and confidence culminating in the 1000yd MJC.  Come join the club!”  – Doug, Saratoga Springs UT 2020

“As a big game hunter, I took this class to learn how to extend my effective range.   I loved that Bryce was able to help me maximize the capability of my existing equipment, match the correct ammunition to my rifle, and then adjust my turrets correctly for any distance and condition.  I learned how to properly interact with the rifle and be confident in my shots by removing the “human elements” that cause inaccuracy.  I feel like I am shooting at a whole different level.”  – Brock, Syracuse, UT 2020

‘I grew up shooting firearms and always considered my self a good shot but when it came to rifles with optics I didn’t know much beyond point and shoot. LRSUs Introduction to Long Range Shooting class with Bryce changed all of that! I entered the class knowing very little and left being able to confidently adjust for distance and wind. By the end of the class, I had hit targets out to 1 mile! (1,760 yards)”.  – Kevin Moore, Salt Lake City, Utah 2020

“I’m new to long-range shooting and this class helped me to better understand what equipment to buy and how to use it to achieve accuracy and precision. To hear that “ding” and consistently hit targets at 1000 yards, including the milk jug, is exhilarating. Now precision shooting is fun rather than frustrating and I can’t wait to get out to practice. I definitely recommend Bryce’s long-range precision shooting class.  – Larry Landen, Highland, Utah 2020

“LRSU’s Intro to Long Range course taught me the fundamentals to greatly improve my accuracy and consistency. I had never shot past 300 yards and was able to make consistent hits at 1000 yard targets. This course gave me the confidence to expand my long range shooting capability. 100%, I will be back for another class”   – Chris Hart of Action Target, Provo, UT 2020

“I highly endorse Bryce and his team for the 2-day intro to long range class in Price, Utah. Bryce took this 58-year old who hadn’t shot beyond 50 yards and had me hitting steel at 100-yard increments to 1000 yards…not only 1 but  2 hits with 2 shots. I am still in awe and look forward to his March or April 2020 classes to improve my skills even further. Hope to see you there.”  – Cordell, Clearfield, Utah 2019

“It’s so cool to learn exactly how to shoot. I just went from a complete rookie to be hitting an 18″ target at 1000 yards. This was the most fun I’ve had in a long, long time.”  – Wally, Provo, UT 2019

“Within 4 hours we were hitting every 100 yards out to 1000 yards.  300, 400 and 500 yards seem like nothing now”.  – Jeff, Park City, UT 2019

“There wasn’t a single part of the class where I wasn’t having fun and learning something new.  Hearing that “ding” at 1000 yard was so awesome, I’m still grinning”.  – Cade, Salt Lake City, UT 2019
